About ballastIQ

We work across business and technology.

ballastIQ helps companies improve operations, build products, strengthen their digital presence, and solve technical problems.

Founder

Tyler Greene

Tyler's background combines business, product development, and technology.

His work has included business systems, websites, e-commerce, SEO, software, hardware, automation, and connected equipment. He has also worked extensively with CRM, ERP, product development, commercialization, and technical leadership.

He has rebuilt websites and marketing systems. He has implemented CRM and ERP platforms, improved sales and operational processes, developed software applications, prototyped hardware, and helped bring technical products to market.

Today, Tyler leads ballastIQ's client work. When a project requires skills outside the practice, ballastIQ brings in the right engineer, developer, designer, vendor, or specialist for that part of the job.

Tyler's Christian faith and his family are central to his life. ballastIQ is family-owned and built around honesty, responsible stewardship, keeping commitments, treating people fairly, and doing work that is genuinely useful.

What We Work On

From websites to hardware.

ballastIQ's work has ranged from websites, SEO, e-commerce, CRM, and ERP to software applications and technical products.

Other projects have involved hardware prototypes, automation, remote monitoring, and connected equipment.

We also work with companies that need technical leadership, an outside review, or help deciding what to build, buy, fix, or replace.

Working With ballastIQ

Start with the problem as you see it.

Some clients come to us with a clear project. Others simply know that something is not working and want help figuring out why.

Either is fine. We can work with your staff and existing vendors, take responsibility for a defined part of the project, or manage the work ourselves.

If the job requires expertise we do not have in-house, we bring in someone who does.

Across the Boundaries

The problem may not belong to just one department.

A weak sales process might involve the website and CRM. An operational problem might require software or better reporting. A product problem might involve hardware, cloud systems, and vendors.

We help sort out where the problem actually is before deciding what needs to change.

What to Expect

Straight answers.

If we think something is not worth doing, we'll say so.

If an existing system can be repaired instead of replaced, we'll tell you. If another company is better suited to the work, we'll tell you that too.

We'd rather give you a useful answer than sell you something you don't need.

Family-Owned

We care what happens after the engagement.

ballastIQ is a family-owned business. We want the work to hold up after we leave.

We also want clients to feel they made a good decision hiring us.
